New Year is a New Opportunity

As 2006 winds down to its end, I'm reflecting back on the year that was full of many ups and downs. The dawn of a new year in 2007 allows us all the opportunity to make our lives progress in a positive manner.
Whether this means setting a new year's resolution that sticks like promising to cut back on junk food, to get physically active, to quit smoking, or many other common resolutions is entirely up to the individual. I'm vowing to become physically fit again. I know I'm in pretty good shape compared to much of the population but I long to be fit the way I was when I was back in university. We'll see how far that goes.
For some people the new year can be a time for cleaning house from the junk of the previous year....and by junk I suppose I'm referring to emotional junk. Charting a new course for your path in life?...Now is a perfect time. Many people I know will be attempting this over the next couple of weeks and this time it is for real...apparently.
My own technology based resolution is to develop the bloggopotamus into a more serious teaching tool. I have severely slacked off in this area but the new year will bring about change and hopefully I will be able to present more interactive content for readers and students. This is my resolution.
*start humming Auld Lang Syne* Happy 2007!!
