A New Kind of Sudoku..All Scientific and Stuff

Sudoku over the past two years has become one of the hottest puzzles rivaling the crossword puzzle. It is found daily in many newspapers and you can but books full of sudoku puzzles of different varieties and difficulties. Here is a new type of Sudoku...a Scidoku from Scientific American. In this type of puzzle, a clue is given to a nine-letter word that is related to science. You then must use those letters to solve the 3x3 grids and the larger grid as a whole. I've been hooked on the Sudoku puzzles for a while and this is an interesting twist. Click on the post title or here for the current puzzle. There are links to previous puzzles as well. Enjoy!
Some good science reading can also be found on the general Scientific American web site.
